Slamming my fist against the cell wall, I return to pacing once more. I can barely run my hands through my hair without the manacle on my wrist clanging into the one on my neck or knocking into my forehead. I'm getting pissed off with the frustration coursing through me, both at the restraints holding my ability at bay and the red head along the hall. Not Pyro, âcause I'm used to his lovesick bullshit, but Mania. She's crawled beneath my skin and plagued my mind with her lash framed red eyes, those blackened lips calling to a part of my soul I didn't realise still existed.
I want to ram my dick down the back of her throat until she chokes, revives and do it again. And again, and again. Until the hatred burning in my veins for her is thoroughly ejaculated from my body. Then Iâll be able to look at her without an ounce of emotion riding me into a fit of anger each time. Sheâll be another notch on my belt to fuck and forget. Except I canât do any of that, because sheâs Pyâs girl. And round and round it goes.
Dropping onto the bed, I stand up straight away, not comfortable anywhere. Walking around in circles, burning a hole in the carpet in just my sweatpants, I scratch my neck and wrists irritably around the restraints and smack myself on the chest. I can't stay in here any longer. I'm the cool headed one, I can make the best of any situation. But not this one. I want her gone. I warned her to leave Pyro the fuck alone, to stop messing with his emotions and what do I find? She's coaxed him into the chapel for a tongue fight in secret. If I'd gotten there a second later, my best friend would have been a goner.
I hear a buzzer sound somewhere within the institute, ignoring it at first as the mental roaring inside my ears overpowers it. Crossing my cell, I peer through the hatch which is always left open. There's talking further down the walkway, but I can't see who the faces belong to. Overhead, the moon is shining through the glass skylight, its judgy glow asking why I'm still awake.
"I don't fucking know," I whisper at it with a glare. Figures appear in my eyeline and I grimace. Mania is walking alongside that old bastard with two female assistants trailing behind. Pyro must be awake and watching too because his shouts penetrate the air.
"Hey! Where are you taking her?! We had a deal, bring her back!" I tsk and roll my eyes, ignoring him for the most part. He's seriously going to do himself some damage one of these days if he doesn't dial down his unwarranted chivalry. Mania's red eyes flick to me briefly as she passes, walking by easily without any need for force. I'm still waiting for the day they call for me instead of Pyro, happy to take my
